Every day you wash your face; do you ever consider that you could be damaging your skin? Damage can result in irritation, dryness and premature wrinkles.
Here are some tips to clean your face the right way:
- Always wash your hands first before you start cleaning your face.
- Wash your face twice daily – no exceptions!
- Pick a cleanser according to your skin type to balance your skin’s pH level. There are specific cleansers for dry, oily, acne, sensitive, dehydrated or other challenging skin conditions.
- Choose the texture of your cleanser of your liking; it can be milk, gel or foam.
- Use lukewarm water, never too hot. Best to bathe your face; don’t shower.
- Exfoliate with a gentle scrub or enzyme; but please not every day!
