Under-eye wrinkles can be unavoidable as you get older since they are caused by facial movements, such as frowning, smiling, and laughing. Although they are natural and a part of life, they can become insecure. But, you can use treatments to help prevent or diminish their appearance.
Topicals
Using moisturizers, serums, and eye creams can help soften the skin under your eye. However, it is important to look at the ingredients of the products you use to ensure they can help. Additionally, make sure you are able to use them closer to your eye. Make sure you look for vitamin C, retinol, or hydrochloric acid in the ingredients lists. All of these ingredients work in different ways to improve your skin cells and trick them into thinking they are younger. Additionally, they can help soften dark patches and smoothen any fine lines.
Laser Treatment
One way to significantly diminish under-eye wrinkles is laser treatment. This treatment works to rejuvenate your skin by revealing new skin and generating collagen to help with wrinkles. Additionally, the laser removes older layers of skin, so your skin can look younger and firmer. However, it is important to know that doing laser treatments too much can affect your skin. It can give it a darker appearance which could make the appearance of eye bags more prominent. So, it is good to consultant with your laser esthetician to make sure you are able to do the treatment.
Microneedling
Microneedling essentially creates tiny holes in your skin with a needle roller to promote collagen production. You are basically triggering your current skin to create new skin. This way, your skin will rejuvenate itself and have a younger appearance with fewer under-eye wrinkles. But, if you have extremely sensitive skin, it may not be the best option for you.
